Holidays in Medicine

There are no school breaks in medicine. Illness and injury don't take holidays off, and caring for patients is a 24/7 undertaking. While some specialties or practices allow for holiday vacations, most doctors and nurses find themselves working ― at least some of the time ― while the rest of the world is celebrating.

To all of you that provide the rest of us care when we need it during the holidays,

THANK YOU!
